Lord, give me patience, but please give it now!

With plans to go to Thailand still up in the air, I am sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation of finding out what my future holds. Right now, the plan is to leave in less than a month and none of us who are planning on departing have a visa or even a plane ticket. From what I hear, the plans are progressing, even if it is not as rapidly as I would have hoped. Hopefully, in this coming week I will find out what the plans are for next year.

I have been having fun at home here in Montana this summer, working on the blueberry bushes and the rest of our food, going hiking, playing in the snow, canoing, swimming, and cooking. It is amazingly beautiful in this part of the country! For any of you who haven't been out here, I would highly suggest it (you are welcome anytime).

God must have many lessons that He wants me to learn, including patience and trust in Him. As I am waiting, I pray that I will learn those lessons, and that I will learn them fast! It is challenging, but it is with these challenges that I grow. I realize that when I am down to nothing, God is up to something. He must be really busy right now. :)

Truly, I have found out that being a Christian is never boring!

Phoebe! A blog :)

I have been praying for you guys; I know it must be really hard to be so close to going and not have things finalized.
Just remember, God called you. Each of you. And He will make a way :)

Work is going alright. I feel like I am learning alot, but I still feel that it doesn't really fit my personality, so after talking with my supervisor I decided to resign/leave early (only five more days!). This way I'll have more time to prepare for the phillippines. How's everything there, do the apple trees still have blossoms on them. I hope things work out for Thialand, maybe you can come to the phillippines if God doesn't send you to thialand. I'm sure the Georges would be more than happy to have an extra nurse!
